Security Officer - Corporate office

About the Role

As a Security Officer Hospital Mobile Driver in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare and other industries. This unarmed patrol position supports a healthcare location through routine patrols, visible presence, access control, and responsive customer service, and may involve assisting with security‑related incidents requiring restraint and supporting sensitive hospital areas. A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity, hazards, and security‑related concerns.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access as directed by site procedures, and providing directions to patients and visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Ability to work in and around a morgue.
• Ability to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.

Pay

$18.17 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑time, daytime shift: Monday‑Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
