As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a transportation location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with travelers and staff, and support a welcoming environment. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
