Security Officer - Corporate Building

About the role

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Corporate Building in Tempe, AZ. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol corporate property areas by bicycle, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication, routine patrols, and responsive customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience
• Ability to ride a bicycle
• At least 18 years of age (unarmed role)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment

Preferred Qualifications

• Guard Card or license
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Customer service experience

Pay

$20.60 / hour

Daytime: Mon 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM, Thur 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM, Fri 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM, Sat 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM, Sun 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM (Full Time)
