Security Officer - Construction Site - Day shift

Ready to suit up as a Security Officer – Construction Site for GardaWorld Security Services in San Jose, CA. The role focuses on reading the environment, anticipating risk, and acting accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

Qualifications

• State security license and additional 32‑hour BSIS security trainings (additional trainings can be obtained during hiring).
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Documentation of High School Diploma or GED.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Security, military, or law‑enforcement experience is a plus.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $23.50 per hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees).

Schedule

Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm.
