Security Officer - Construction Site

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Security Officer for a construction site in Mountain View, CA. What matters most in this role is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly.

About the role

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling the construction site.

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Saturday - Wednesday, 11:00pm - 7:00am

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $23.50 per hour. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Requirements

• State security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (additional training can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift

Qualifications

• Preferably three months of security experience
• First aid certification is an asset
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
