Security Officer - Construction Site

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Security Officer - Construction Site. As a Security Officer, your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly is crucial. Your keen sense of observation is one of your greatest strengths. You will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as construction sites.

The site location is Mountain View, CA, with a set schedule of full-time and part-time, 16 - 40 hours per week. You will receive a competitive hourly wage of $23.50 / hour, with DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• State security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferably has three months of security experience
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is a plus
