Construction Site Security Officer

Job Description

Remain alert to construction-related hazards such as heavy equipment and restricted areas on an ever-changing site including inclement weather conditions.

Report hazards/suspicious activity, complete daily logs/incident reports, and respond to emergencies per post orders.

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

Patrol the site and staff assigned posts; monitor access points and construction activity to support controlled access and safety compliance.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain an Unarmed Professional Security License as required by the state.
• Must be able to obtain a First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening, driving record check and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient English language communication, reading, and writing skills.
• Able to meet all physical demands, including occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs.), and performing tasks such as bending, climbing, running, walking, and standing for long periods of time as needed.
• Previous security, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience is helpful but not required.
