About the role

As a Part‑Time Security Officer Concierge in Providence, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, primarily healthcare. You will act as a welcoming, professional presence at the front desk, monitoring access, greeting visitors, managing entry procedures, and supporting security‑related communications. The position offers flexibility through the “Claim a Shift” platform, allowing you to build a schedule that works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at a healthcare front desk by greeting visitors, assisting with check‑in procedures, and directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor records in accordance with site‑specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Support security‑related procedures by observing lobby activity, reporting unusual conditions, and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Communicate professionally with employees, patients, visitors, and emergency responders while following site‑specific protocols and emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 + years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Daytime – Saturday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM; Sunday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
