As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while helping create a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking lots, entry points, trailer yards, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor personnel, visitor, and vehicle access in accordance with site-specific requirements, documenting observations and incidents as required.
Maintain clear communication with site personnel, dispatch, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and operational changes.

Requirements

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Have customer service experience, preferred.
Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
Possess a guard card or license, preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
