About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by following site-specific procedures and supporting appropriate emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with established policies; assist with directing guests and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Requirements
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$20.10 / hour

- Fri 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
- Sat 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
