Security Officer - Commercial Site

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related observations and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and deliveries, following location protocols for identification, screening, and authorized access.
• Support a professional environment by helping to deter unauthorized activity, directing visitors and contractors, and communicating clearly with staff during routine and unexpected events.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
