Security Officer - Commercial

About the Role

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer. The role emphasizes building meaningful connections and engaging with others to reassure and inspire confidence. As a Concierge Security Officer, you will focus on customer service while working with people on all shifts in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. Responsibilities

• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
• You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
• Lobby – you provide critical access control and order in the lobby area by checking identification of employees, vendors, customers, and other visitors, plus keeping the area clear of foot traffic and preventing other hazards.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US.
• High school education or equivalent (GED).
• Valid PILB.
• Valid driver's license.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 7 days of an offer).
• Superior people skills.
• At least 1 year of security experience (law enforcement or military experience a plus).
• Strong work ethic.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $23.63 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Schedule

• Shift 1: 7:45 pm to 8:15 am – Wednesday to Saturday
• Shift 2: 7:45 pm to 8:15 am – Sunday to Wednesday
• Shift 3: 7:45 pm to 8:15 am – Sunday to Wednesday
• Shift 4: 7:45 am to 8:15 pm – Wednesday to Saturday
