Security Officer Command Post Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Command Post Driver in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Professional at a leading financial institution location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Monitor communication systems, receive and document calls for service, and dispatch personnel to incidents, alarms, and/or routine requests in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications to support awareness of security-related conditions, access concerns, and/or response actions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations by gathering relevant information, coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders, and relaying updates as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or potential policy violations for follow-up.

Requirements

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be willing to undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
