About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment for patients, visitors, and staff while collaborating with teammates and acting with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
- Assist with access control, visitor management, and directing patients and visitors to appropriate locations in accordance with facility policies.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities.
Requirements
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to restrain individuals.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$20.03 / hour

- Monday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Tuesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
