As a Security Officer Clearance Required Reception Operations in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while monitoring access, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, and responding to security-related concerns. Your customer service and communication skills will help support a controlled environment for personnel and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and clients at a front desk location within an aerospace and defense environment by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate
• Monitor visitor access, verify identification and credentials, issue visitor badges, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests in accordance with established site procedures
• Answer incoming calls, receive deliveries, coordinate with appropriate personnel, and provide clear directions and information to support daily operations
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established notification and escalation procedures
• Maintain accurate records of access activity, incidents, and other security-related matters, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Pay & Schedule

Part Time position with a pay rate of $21.69 per hour. Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
