What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting security-related protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document access activity in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate communication channels when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, with attention to access control concerns and site rules.
- Support emergency response activities when appropriate, assist with directing foot and/or vehicle traffic at controlled access points, and help to deter unauthorized entry through consistent presence and observation.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
