Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities across an educational campus environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with campus contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with checking credentials, visitor entry, and/or after-hours building access in accordance with site policies.
• Support daily campus operations by reporting maintenance concerns, security-related hazards, and/or policy violations while providing visible presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
