About the role

As a Security Officer Bicycle Patrol Watch in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic public location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or other assigned areas, assisting with authorized access, crowd observation, and general support for daily operations at the location.
• Communicate with local staff, supervisors, and/or public-facing personnel regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters that may require follow-up.

Requirements

• Be able to ride a bike.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time.
• Guard card/license.
