Security Officer Bicycle Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Bicycle Patrol in Canyon Lake, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a residential community, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and community activity to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with visitor-related questions, and report maintenance concerns and/or hazards to the appropriate contact.
• Support access control and routine post duties by observing surroundings, preparing reports, and following site-specific instructions for assigned areas and/or scheduled patrol routes.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to ride a bike is required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
