As a Security Officer Bicycle Patrol in Valencia, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine bicycle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and assist tenants and visitors with professional customer service. You will communicate clearly, report security-related concerns, and support access control activities. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Schedule: Monday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Thursday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Friday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Saturday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sunday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, support compliance with building entry procedures, and assist with directions or general information as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
