What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points and public areas, verify authorization when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations through visible presence and professional interaction.
- Support daily operations by preparing incident reports, communicating with site personnel and/or emergency responders, and following post orders and allied universal standards for the location.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Able to ride a bike.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Licensing Requirements
Subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
