About the Role

As a Security Officer Part Time Bicycle Alarm Monitoring in CORPUS CHRISTI, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. This role involves conducting routine bicycle patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, responding to alarms and campus needs, and providing exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, campus concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
