This part-time enhanced Security Officer role offers a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader. As a Security Officer - Bank ATM Vestibule in Jackson Heights, NY, you’ll have reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

This role requires a six (6) month commitment to a designated site and weekly shift (anchor shifts). You may also pick up extra shifts through our Claim-A-Shift program, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours one week and full-time the next—it’s up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Assist with access control, lobby coverage, and other assigned duties while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Fixed anchor shift with the ability to claim additional shifts. Example schedule: Daytime, Saturday, 12:00 AM - 08:45 AM.
