About the role
As a Surveillance Security Officer, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and more. Your sharp eye and attention to detail will be crucial in monitoring security systems to detect suspicious activity.
Schedule
Set schedule of 25-35 hours per week with the following shift options:
- 1st Shift: Sunday - Monday, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm; Tuesday - Wednesday, 3:30 pm - 8:00 pm
- 2nd Shift: Thursday - Monday, 3:30 pm - 8:00 pm
- 3rd Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
Pay
Competitive hourly wage of $22.50 per hour. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
- Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
- Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Requirements
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
- Strong report writing skills
- Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Strong customer service skills
- State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings (additional training can be obtained during the hiring process)
Preferred experience: Security, Military, or Law Enforcement.
