Security Officer Badge Verification
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening access at entry points, verifying credentials, and supporting authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries.
- Monitor gates, lobbies, and/or other access control locations within the transportation site, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized access, damaged barriers, and/or other conditions that could affect operations.
- Complete required logs, incident reports, and access records, and follow site-specific policies related to keys, badges, restricted areas, and/or vehicle entry procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
