Job Description

As a Security Officer - Badge Screener for Warehouse in Vernon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, shipments, and deliveries in accordance with established procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
