About the role

As a Security Officer Badge Review in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will help monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support access control processes at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. This role involves remaining visible, conducting routine observations, and providing exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, and following security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Monitor visitor, contractor, and delivery traffic at entry points, document arrivals and departures, and help deter unauthorized access to buildings, yards, docks, and other restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and conditions that should be reported through established security-related channels.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by controlling access to designated areas, following post orders for vehicle and pedestrian entry, and maintaining accurate logs and incident reports.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
