About the role
As an Access Control Security Professional supporting a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location in Louisville, KY, you will manage access points, verify credentials, assist visitors and employees, monitor alarm and badge activity, and maintain a professional presence that helps deter security-related incidents. Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
- Operate access-control systems, issue and recover visitor badges and temporary credentials, and report access discrepancies or equipment concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
Pay
$18.00 / hour
Schedule
- Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
