What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, credential verification steps, and security-related policies for a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, screen visitors and deliveries, and document access activity to help to deter unauthorized entry and support site operations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, gates, and perimeter locations, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns according to post procedures.
- Support emergency response activities by directing foot and vehicle traffic, maintaining awareness of restricted areas, and completing required reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
