As a Security Officer Truck Gate in York, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Monitor access points and help manage the entry and exit of employees, vendors, deliveries, and/or visitors in accordance with site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the sales floor, stock areas, exterior entrances, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access, and help to deter disruptions through visible presence and timely communication.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

• Customer service experience.
• Computer or tablet proficiency.
• Access control and/or badge experience.
