Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, screen visitors and/or vendors as directed, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or operational concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support loss prevention and traffic flow efforts by observing trailer yards, shipping and receiving areas, and employee entrances, while following post orders and Allied Universal standards.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
