Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and direct authorized personnel and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-related activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
