About the role

As a Security Officer - Badge Access in Fort Mill, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as automotive. As an unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an automotive manufacturing or operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
  • Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or access-control issues according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

$16.32 / Hour

  • Tuesday: 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Thursday: 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Friday: 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM
