About the role

As a Security Officer Badge Access in Saint Augustine, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges, and support a professional environment through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licenses and certifications may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina for patrol duties.
