Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Coordinator in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecommunications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Bring an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset while working with a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and emergency response support appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through established channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment, assisting with visitor processing and access control procedures as directed.
  • Support Allied Universal and location policies by communicating clearly with site contacts, following post orders, and assisting with routine security-related duties across varying work environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
