Security Officer

Job Description

As a Security Officer, you help keep our corporate offices safe, secure, and welcoming. This role blends security responsibilities with hospitality focused service, ensuring our guests, team members, and property are protected while creating a friendly and supportive environment.

You maintain a visible presence, manage access points, respond to police, fire, or medical situations, and complete safety inspections and incident reports. By working closely with public safety partners and security leadership, you help ensure everyone feels safe and cared for.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, or a related field is required (minimum of 1 year)
• Possession of a valid Unarmed Security Officer license (as required by the state of employment) is a plus; however, we will assist qualified candidates in obtaining this certification if needed
• Certificate/certificates in First Aid, CPR and AED highly preferred but not required
• Prior hospitality or guest service experience strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with basic computer systems used to complete reports, logs, and email communication
• Excellent judgment, integrity, and attention to detail

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Required to pass a background check, drug test and motor vehicle record (MVR) check
• Required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Requires physical stamina and the ability to work indoors and outdoors, remain on your feet for extended periods, climb stairs, and move quickly for short distances as needed
