Security Officer

Position Summary

Raintree Country Club, located in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a dependable, professional Part-Time Evening Security & Janitorial Associate to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evening oversight of club facilities including:
  • Fitness room
  • Parking lot
  • Pavilion
  • Clubhouse
• Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure safety, security, and proper use of facilities
• Maintain a calm, courteous, and firm demeanor when addressing minor disturbances (including supervision of unsupervised or disruptive youth)
• Politely verify membership status when necessary
• Report incidents, safety concerns, or maintenance issues to management

Facility Closing & Security

• Secure all buildings and outdoor areas at closing
• Lock doors, gates, and access points according to established procedures
• Ensure all lights, equipment, and systems are shut down or secured properly

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to interact with members and guests in a polite, professional manner
• Comfortable addressing rule violations and enforcing policies respectfully
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Previous security, facilities, or janitorial experience preferred but not required
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks
• Calm and level-headed, especially in situations involving youth or minor disturbances
• Observant and proactive in identifying potential issues
• Respectful but confident when enforcing club policies
• Takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment

Benefits

• Compensation: $19 per hour
