Founded in 1959 and named for the Trinity River that flows nearby, Trinity Valley School is an independent, nonsectarian, college-preparatory school which seeks students of above-average to superior ability who will contribute to the diversity of the student body and enrich the School community. Enrollment includes more than 1,000 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 on a 75-acre campus in Fort Worth, Texas. Role and Responsibilities
TVS Security Officers are the front line of protecting the School community and managing risk in a manner respectful of the School's core values, culture, and climate. Officers help to provide an environment that ensures student, faculty, and visitor safety while supporting the School's mission.
- Performing basic security services
- Greet all persons entering campus
- Patrol campus
- Control access gates
- Monitor multiple cameras
- Perform traffic control
- Perform registered sex offender checks
- Operate access control systems
- Operate building alarm systems
- Submit incident reports
- Secure campus nightly
- Assist with school emergency drills
- In the event of a medical emergency, render first aid
Knowledge, Experience, and Skill Requirements
- Have prior experience as a security officer
- Support fully our mission

- Exemplify personal and professional integrity
- Work collaboratively with TVS faculty and staff
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be proficient with Microsoft and Mac software
