Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer at Tiffany is responsible for protecting company assets and associates. Key duties include overseeing physical security measures, managing visitor access, responding to emergencies, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the physical security of the location, including monitoring CCTV, card access, and burglar alarm systems.
• Perform physical inspections and tours of the building as needed.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for employees and visitors by monitoring building entry and escorting visitors.
• Ensure all employees are authorized for entry and provide assistance as necessary.
• Operate a metal detection entry/exit process for high security areas, monitoring compliance and detecting violations.
• Inspect trash and discarded materials from high security areas.
• Respond promptly to building emergencies such as burglar alarms, fire alarms, medical emergencies, and other incidents.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in security, with a proven track record of effective problem-solving and decision-making. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a security-related role.
• Knowledge of security protocols and practices, including CCTV, card access, and alarm systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
