Security Officer
About the Role
St. Barnabas Health System is looking for qualified Security Officers for our Valencia and Gibsonia Campuses. No experience is needed, and we will train the right candidates.
Responsibilities
- Stationary and patrolling rounds, alarm monitoring, video surveillance, emergency responses, and risk protection
- Use general computer skills and be able to type
- Work special events assigned by supervisor
- Attend required in-service education training and staff meetings
Requirements
- Ability to interact with team members, other staff, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
- Must pass drug screen and State Police background check
- Must be able to move at least 50 lbs
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sit/stand)
- Must be able to navigate and move around the facility and campus to perform duties safely
- Must be able to work a 12-hour shift
Pay & Schedule
Salary: $17.00 per hour. Full Time. Day Shift: 8:30 AM – 8:30 PM, with every other weekend required.
