Security Officer

About the role

Securitas USA helps make the world a safer place by providing security services that safeguard clients' people and assets. The Security Officer position maintains a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring premises, patrolling a variety of locations, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations. Officers frequently provide customer service and information to clients' employees and visitors. No experience is necessary; candidates with retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds are a great fit, and training is provided for those new to the security industry.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site
• Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel
• Patrol a variety of locations (may involve climbing stairs, walking inclines, and uneven terrain)
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for the client site
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to work split shifts
• Pass drug screen and background check
• Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards
• Physical requirements: frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods; frequent lifting/moving up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting/moving up to 25 pounds

$15.00–$16.00 per hour
