Security Officer

About the Role

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. This position is based in Brewster, WA.

Responsibilities

• Work in a guard shack and conduct regular patrols.
• Resolve conflicts and de‑escalate situations.
• Interact frequently with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
• Ensure all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout the shift.
• Conduct tours of the property to prevent trespassing.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above‑average computer/technology skills (software and smart device usage).
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift.
• Professional demeanor and ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment.
• Willingness to participate in pre‑employment screening (drug screen and background investigation).
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time.
• Strong critical‑thinking and reporting skills.
• Open availability; ability to work varying schedules and shifts as needed.

$24.50 per hour
