Pay

Starting wage: $16.00 per hour. Weekly pay.

About the role

Securitas USA helps make the world a safer place by providing security services that safeguard clients’ people and assets. As a Security Officer/Guard, you will actively monitor premises, patrol a variety of locations, preserve order, enforce site regulations, and frequently provide customer service and information to employees and visitors. Positions are available full‑time and part‑time.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
• Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Patrol a variety of locations, including climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for the client site.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.

Requirements

• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must meet and continue to meet all applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Physical demands: frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods; frequent lifting/moving up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting/moving up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• No prior security experience required.
• Retail, food service, or hospitality background is a plus; comprehensive training provided for all new hires.
