Security Officer

Pay

$15.00–$16.00 per hour; weekly pay.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time positions available; must be able to work split shifts.

About the role

Securitas Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, patrolling a variety of locations, preserving order, enforcing site regulations, and providing customer service to employees and visitors. No prior experience is required; candidates with retail, food-service, or hospitality backgrounds are a great fit, and full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client site.
• Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Actively monitor premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for the client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provide customer service and information to client’s employees and customers.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work split shifts.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must meet and continue to meet all applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
• No experience necessary; retail, food-service, or hospitality background a plus.
• Physical demands: frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods; climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain; frequent lifting/moving up to 10 lbs and occasional lifting/moving up to 25 lbs.
