Security Officer
About the role
The Security Officer position at Securitas helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring and patrolling various locations. This role involves enforcing regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the area. Security Officers also provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol client sites to ensure safety and security
- Enforce regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area
- Provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers
- Preserve order and enforce rules and regulations
Requirements
No prior experience is necessary. A background in retail, food service, or hospitality is beneficial but not required. Securitas provides comprehensive training for new hires.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. A Security Guard / Securitas Security/ HURST / TXDPS License # B03946 is preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided.
Skills
Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and strong communication skills are essential. Patience and a calm demeanor are also important qualities for this role.
