Security Officer

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society, and the Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring premises, patrolling various locations, preserving order, enforcing client regulations, and providing customer service and information to employees and visitors. Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites to ensure the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Conduct frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods and may involve climbing stairs, walking up inclines, and navigating uneven terrain.
• Perform frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds.
• Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the client site.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.
• Actively monitor premises and patrol a variety of locations.

Requirements

• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must meet and maintain any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
• Driver certification required.
• No prior experience necessary; training provided (retail, food service, or hospitality background is a plus).
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, including climbing stairs and navigating uneven terrain.

$19.00 per hour, paid weekly
