Security Officer

About the Role

Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, employees, visitors, and other persons on the hospital campus and annex buildings; protects hospital buildings, assets, and premises.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred
• Prior security experience preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good decision-making skills
• Basic computer skills

Qualifications

• Valid California Guard Card
• California Driver’s License
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card (must be obtained within one month of hire date)
• CPI certification (must be obtained within three months of hire date)
• I.A.H.S.S. certificate preferred, not required
• Good driving record

Able to perform the essential physical duties of the position as defined in the job description.

Pay

$23.00 – $31.82 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by the candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
