SECURITY OFFICER

About the role

We’re looking for someone to join our team as a security professional, responsible for the safety and security of guests and employees at Sam Houston Race Park. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the gaming industry with a leader in the field.

Responsibilities

• Remain calm in emergency situations and have good oral and written communication skills
• Maintain order in an assigned area, being alert for safety hazards, accidents, disorderly conduct, thefts, and guests needing assistance
• Notify supervisor immediately if any incidents occur
• Provide public relations assistance by giving directions or aid in certain situations
• Prepare Daily Activity and Incident Reports covering all activity and incidents during the shift
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1-2 years of previous Security experience
• Private Security License preferred

Pay

Starting salary is $14.00 per hour.
