Security Officer

About the role

As a Security Officer at River City Casino & Hotel, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons and employees. This position requires active movement, standing for extended periods, and assisting guests with their needs throughout your shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist sick or injured patrons and employees by providing first aid as either the primary or secondary responder.
• Report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Assist guests and employees with directions and proper procedures.
• Check identification to ensure guests are over the age of 21.
• Perform fills, credits, exchanges, and marker transfers for departments as needed.
• Compose accident/incident reports and witness statements when necessary.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe manner.
• Monitor and respond to alarms.
• Remain physically active, including walking, using your hands, and assisting guests.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Driver’s License and operate company vehicles as needed.
• Must have the ability to run on level surfaces as well as up and down stairs.
• Must remain calm in emergency or stressful situations.
• Must be able to write clear, accurate, and concise reports.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.

CPR Certificate and AED training will be provided.

Pay

$17.50 per hour

Schedule

• Swing shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Grave shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
