The team at Recess Hotel & Club is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and confident Security Officer to join their Security team at their luxury urban resort. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming atmosphere for guests, members, visitors, and team members.

Qualifications

• Previous security, hospitality, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to identify unusual or suspicious behavior
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
• Familiarity with security equipment, surveillance systems, and access control systems preferred
• Strong customer service mindset and commitment to hospitality
• Able to stand, walk, climb stairs, and perform physical activities throughout the workday
• Strong integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards
• Able to uphold resort standards of safety, security, and guest service
• Excellent presentation and grooming standards
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as business needs require

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and move banquet equipment as needed
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules based on business demands
